RIPLRT mentee successfully defends her doctoral thesis: Dr. Lorraine N. Vélez-Torres

October 10, 2023. Lorraine N. Vélez-Torres (3rd from the right), the mentee of RIPLRT’s collaborator Dr. Benjamín Bolaños-Rosero and RIPLRT’s principal investigator Dr. Félix E. Rivera-Mariani, successfully defended her PhD thesis on October 6, 2023. Her PhD thesis was “Indoor Fungal Bioaerosols after Hurricane Maria Related Flooding: Amplified Aspergillus spp. Identification and Evaluation of their Inflammatory Potential.”
